Zincalume Water Storage Tanks are fabricated from steel sheets continuously coated with zinc and aluminium to provide exceptional corrosion resistance under demanding atmospheric conditions. These tanks use high-grade Zincalume Steel as the material of construction, offering significantly improved durability compared with conventional galvanized steel.
The aluminium component of the coating provides barrier protection, while zinc offers sacrificial protection at cut edges, creating a dual corrosion protection mechanism. Zincalume Steel is suitable for storing various types of water, including potable water, irrigation water, fire water, and reclaimed water within specified pH ranges.
Manufactured through a hot-dipped metallic coating process, Zincalume Steel consists of an alloy coating containing aluminium, zinc, and silicon. The coated surface provides excellent resistance to cracking and peeling. Bolted steel Zincalume tanks offer advantages such as reduced installation time, easy transportation, flexibility in capacity, low maintenance requirements, and simplified relocation.
These tanks are supplied with accessories including tank panels, stays and cleats, galvanized bolts, jointing materials, water level indicators, ladders, finishes, and reinforced PVC liners suitable for drinking water applications. They are widely used for industrial, agricultural, commercial, and water management applications.
